THE MISSION OF BOOC IS TO PROVIDE PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES THAT DEVELOP YOUTH, ENHANCE EDUCATION, FOSTER ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND ADDRESS HEALTH ISSUES IN UNDERSERVED COMMUNITIES.

LED THE COMMUNITY-WIDE CHARGE TO FIGHT OBESITY WITHIN THE SENIOR AND YOUTH POPULATIONS WITHIN THE AFRICAN AMERICAN COMMUNITY IN GENERAL, AND THE AFRICAN AMERICAN POPULATION WITHIN THE SOUTH SUBURBAN CORRIDOR. SEND MENTORS AND TUTORS INTO THE SCHOOLS AND PROVIDING A SAFE HAVEN FOR STUDENTS AFTER SCHOOL. PROVIDES NON-PERISHABLE FOOD ITEMS AND MEATS, AS WELL AS FRESH FRUITS AND VEGETABLES TO FAMILIES LIVING IN THE DOLTON COMMUNITY AND SURROUNDING AREAS
