CHRISTIANS ENGAGED SUCCEEDED TO AWAKEN, MOTIVATE, AND EMPOWER ORDINARY BELIEVERS IN JESUS CHRIST TO: PRAY FOR OUR NATION REGULARLY - VOTE IN EVERY LECTION TO IMPACT OUR CULTURE - ENGAGE THEIR HEARTS IN SOME FORM OF POLITICAL ACTIVISM FOR THE FURTHERANCE OF OUR NATION.
IN 2021, CHRISTIANS ENGAGED REACHED OUT TO CHRISTIANS AROUND TEXAS THROUGH IN-PERSON PROGRAMS CONDUCTED IN 40 CHURCHES WITHOUT ANY COST TO THE LOCAL CHURCH. "ON-RAMP TO CIVIC ENGAGEMENT" SEMINARS WERE HELD IN MULTIPLE CITIES, AND THE FIRST NATIONAL WAKE UP CONFERENCE WAS HELD WITH 465 REGISTERED FEATURING NATIONALLY RECOGNIZED SPEAKERS. EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS REACHED OVER 32,000 PEOPLE AROUND TEXAS AND THE NATION ON PRAYER, VOTING AND ENGAGEMENT THROUGH EMAIL AND TEXT MESSAGES REMINDING THEM OF THEIR LOCAL ELECTIONS AND THE TEXAS CONSTITUTIONAL ELECTION. THIS WAS THE BEGINNING OF WHAT WILL BECOME IN 2022 OUR NATIONAL COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM AROUND EVERY ELECTION. SUPPORTERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO TAKE OUR TEXAS PLEDGE TO VOTE IN EVERY ELECTION, AND MORE THAN 50% OF THESE INDIVIDUALS VOTED IN THE TEXAS CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT ELECTIONS WHERE THE STATE NUMBER WAS ONLY 8% OF REGISTERED VOTERS. THE ORGANIZATION PUBLISHED 2 NEW BOOKS - PSALMS AND VOTE AND GAVE AWAY OVER 3000 BOOKS TO CHRISTIANS WHO TOOK OUR PLEDGE TO PRAY, VOTE, AND ENGAGE. ONLINE ACTIVITIES INCLUDED RELEASING OUR AUSTIN 101 ON-DEMAND VIDEO CURRICULUM, AN IN DEPTH UNDERSTANDING ON HOW THE TEXAS LEGISLATURE FUNCTIONS AND HOW EACH CHRISTIAN CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE THERE. IN ADDITION, THE ORGANIZATION RELEASED OVER 100 ONLINE ARTICLES (MAKING THE NUMBER FOR 2 YEARS - 184), PRODUCED 55 PODCAST EPISODES WITH EDUCATIONAL CONVERSATIONS WITH ELECTED OFFICIALS, MINISTRY LEADERS, AND SUBJECT LEADER EXPERTS, AND CONDUCTED 50 BIBLE STUDIES CONNECTING THE BIBLE AND PRAYER WITH THE CHALLENGES WE FACE EACH WEEK. BY THE END OF 2021, IN JUST TWO SHORT YEARS, CHRISTIANS ENGAGED HAD 270 SPEECHES, MEDIA APPEARANCES, OR ONLINE EVENTS BY OUR TEAM ALL OVER TEXAS AND EXPANDING TO THE NATION INCLUDING TAKING 727 STUDENTS THROUGH EITHER OUR ON-RAMP TO CIVIC ENGAGEMENT SEMINAR OR OUR AUSTIN 101 CLASS.
