PUBLISHED 35,500 PRINT COPIES OF THE GENERAL ELECTION VOTERS GUIDE IN BOTH ENGLISH AND SPANISH; PUBLISHED AN ONLINE VERSION OF THE VOTERS GUIDE (VOTE411) IN ENGLISH AND SPANISH, WHICH DREW OVER 400,000 VIEWERS; SENT TEXTS TO OVER 10,000 VOTERS TO REMIND THEM OF ELECTION DAY.
MENTORED 12 NEWLY-FORMING LOCAL LEAGUES AND PROVIDED FINANCIAL AND PROGRAM SUPPORT; WORKED TO UPDATE OUR CRIMINAL JUSTICE AND LAND USE POSITIONS WITH THE PARTICIPATION OF LOCAL LEAGUES; PROVIDED $1,000 IN GRANT MONEY TO LOCAL LEAGUES TO PURCHASE ACCESS TO VOTE411; WORKED WITH LOCAL LEAGUES TO COORDINATE COVERAGE OF LEGISLATIVE DISTRICTS FOR LOCAL VOTERS GUIDES; PROVIDED TRAINING TO LEAGUES IN THE USE OF VOTE411.

BEGINNING JANUARY 1, 2019, ALL FUNDS AND ASSETS THAT BELONGED TO THE LEAGUE OF WOMEN VOTERS OF TEXAS EDUCATION FUND (EXCEPT $32 TO KEEP THE CHECKING AND SAVINGS ACCOUNTS OPEN) WERE TRANSFERRED TO THE NEW 501(C)(3) ENTITY, THE LEAGUE OF WOMEN VOTERS OF TEXAS (EIN 82-3439854), IN A MOVE TO CONSOLIDATE OPERATIONS UNDER A SINGLE CORPORATION. AT THE END OF THE FISCAL YEAR, ONLY THOSE FUNDS THAT ARE THE PROPERTY OF LOCAL LEAGUES REMAINED IN THE TRUST.
