THE LEAGUE OF WOMEN VOTERS OF OKLAHOMA LAUNCHED A PUBLIC RELATIONS CAMPAIGN FOCUSED ON VOTER REGISTRATION AND PARTICIPATION, GEARED TOWARD THE 18-35 DEMOGRAPHIC, HEAVILY UTILIZING SOCIAL MEDIA AND WITH THE END GOAL TO INCREASE VOTER TURNOUT AT THE POLLS FOR THIS DEMOGRAPHIC GROUP AS COMPARED TO WHAT IT WAS IN 2020. THE PROJECT WAS APPROXIMATLEY 55% COMPLETE AT JUNE 2022.
PLANNING FOR THE LEAGUE OF WOMEN VOTERS OKLAHOMA VOTER GUIDE FOR THE 2022 GENERAL ELECTION BEGAN. THE LANDING PAGE FOR THE ONLINE VERSION WAS LAUNCHED, LEGISLATION AND INITIATIVE PETITIONS THAT COULD RESULT IN STATE QUESTIONS THAT WOULD APPEAR ON THE BALLOT WERE MONITORED, AND CANDIDATE RESEARCH BEGAN AFTER THE PRIMARY ELECTION.
