THE VOTER NETWORK IS NONPARTISAN, NONPROFIT FOCUSED ON CREATING STRONGER COMMUNITIES IN KANSAS THROUGH VOTER EDUCATION AND ENGAGEMENT. WE DO NOT REPRESENT ELECTION OFFICIALS. DO MORE THAN VOTE.

IN 2023 THE VOTER NETWORK CONTINUED TO GROW ITS VOTER TO VOTER EFFORT - AN INNOVATIVE GET-OUT-THE-VOTE PROGRAM THAT HARNESSES THE POWER OF RELATIONSHIPS TO EDUCATE, ENGAGE, AND TURNOUT NON AND INFREQUENT VOTERS IN KANSAS. CURRENTLY, WE HAVE 2,165 VOLUNTEERS PARTICIPATING IN THIS EFFORT IN NEARLY EVERY COUNTY ACROSS THE STATE. IN ADDITION TO OUR NORMAL VOTER TO VOTER PROGRAMMING (WHICH INCLUDES ACCESS TO OUR CUSTOM TOOL, WEEKLY ACTION EMAILS, SOCIAL MEDIA GROUPS, AND WEEKLY CHECK-IN CALLS) WE ALSO LAUNCHED A STATEWIDE, NONPARTISAN CANDIDATE GUIDE KSBALLOT.ORG DURING THE ELECTION CYCLE. ONE OF THE GREATEST BARRIERS TO PARTICIPATION IN LOCAL ELECTIONS IS KNOWING WHO AND WHAT IS ON THE BALLOT. THIS TOOL, AVAILABLE IN ENGLISH AND SPANISH TO ALL KANSAS VOTERS IN MUNICIPALITIES OVER 5,000, ALLOWS USERS TO SEE WHAT RACES ARE ON THEIR BALLOT, RESEARCH CANDIDATES, AND FIND OUT WHERE TO VOTE EARLY OR ON ELECTION DAY...ALL IN ONE PLACE. FINALLY, WE WILL CONTINUE TO OFFER OUR ROBUST ELECTION TOOLKIT ON OUR WEBSITE: WWW.THEVOTERNETWORK.ORG. THIS TOOLKIT IS FULL OF PRINTABLE AND SHAREABLE RESOURCES FOR THE VOLUNTEER AND THE VOTER ALIKE. IT INCLUDES A ONE-PAGE HOW TO VOTE FLIER, A BREAKDOWN OF VOTING BY MAIL FAQS, SAMPLE VOTING REMINDER TEXTS TO SEND TO FRIENDS, AND SOCIAL MEDIA GRAPHICS TO SHARE.
