LEADERSHIP & BUSINESS CONFERENCE AND ANNUAL AWARDS & SCHOLARSHIP GALA: THE ILF ALSO HOSTS A LEADERSHIP AND BUSINESS CONFERENCE WHICH INCLUDES A GLOBAL STRATIGIC ECONOMIC FORUM, BUSINESS TO BUSINESS MATCHMAKING AND THE ILFS ANNUAL SCHOLARSHIP AND AWARDS FALA TO RECOGNIZE EXEMPLARY CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE APA COMMUNITY. IT PROMOTES AND EDUCATES THE APA COMMUNITY TO GET INVOLVED IN MAINSTREAM ACTIVITIES AND ALSO PREPARES THE YOUNG GENERATION TO BECOME LEADERS IN THE PUBLIC BUSINESS, ACADEMIC COMMUNITY AND PROFESSIONAL ARENAS.
ILF FELLOWSHIP AND LEADERSHIP TRAINING PROGRAM: THE ILF PROMOTES THE CIVIC AWARENESS, PUBLIC SERVICE AND ECONOMIC EFFECTIVENESS OF THE ASIAN PACIFIC AMERICAN (APA) COMMUNITY. ITS MISSION IS TO DEVELOP YOUNG LEADERS IN THE UNITED STATES AND OTHER PACIFIC RIM COUNTRIES IN THE FIELDS OF PUBLIC SERVICE, ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND THE INTERNATIONAL ARENA THROUGH A NETWORK OF BUSINESS AND COMMUNITY LEADERS. THE WASHINGTON CIVIC FELLOWSHIP IS A CIVIC LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM. EACH FELLOW PARTICIPATES IN A SUPERVISED TRAINING PROGRAM, INCLUDING A PUBLIC SERVICE INTERNSHIP TO LEARN ABOUT PUBLIC POLICY AND HOW TO NETWORK AND ACCESS GOVERNMENT TO HELP THE COMMUNITY. THE ILF AWARDS FELLOWSHIPS YEARLY FOR STUDENTS TO SPEND SEVERAL WEEKS INTERNING IN GOVERNMENT AGENCIES IN WASHINGTON, DC.
YOUTH LEADERSHIP ACADEMY & EDUCATIONAL TRAINING PROGRAM: THE ILF HAS A NETWORK OF NATIONAL ADVISORY BOARDS AND GLOBAL ADVISORY COUNCILS IN 15 CITIES, COMPRISED OF PROFESSIONAL, CIVIC, BUSINESS AND COMMUNITY LEADERS.
