DEVELOP AND ADMINISTER STANDARDIZED COMPETENCE ASSESSMENTS TO SOCIAL WORKERS SEEKING LICENSURE. THESE ASSESSMENTS ENSURE THAT ONLY SOCIAL WORKERS WHO MEET COMPETENCE STANDARDS ARE LICENSED. THESE ASSESSMENTS ARE REQUIRED BY ALL U.S. STATES, MOST CANADIAN PROVINCES AND SOME U.S. TERRITORIES.
PROVIDE MEETINGS, INFORMATION, EDUCATIONAL SERVICES AND OTHER SERVICES RELATED TO SOCIAL WORK REGULATION TO MEMBER SOCIAL WORK BOARDS. MEMBERSHIP IS COMPRISED OF BOARDS FROM ALL 50 STATES, 10 CANADIAN PROVINCES AND SOME U.S. TERRITORIES.
PROVIDE STUDY MATERIALS AND OTHER PUBLICATIONS TO CANDIDATES PREPARING FOR THE EXAM, AS WELL AS OUTREACH TO MEMBER SOCIAL WORK BOARDS.
