CONSERVATION EDUCATION, PUBLIC EVENTS, COMMUNITY OUTREACH.
COLLECTING AND DISBURSING DONATIONS TO PURCHASE PUBLIC OPEN SPACE AND PROTECTED NATURE PRESERVES. IN 2021, $1,884,725 WAS PAID ON DEBT OBLIGATIONS AND/OR IN DIRECT CASH PURCHASE MONEY PAYMENTS FOR THE ACQUISITION OF OPEN SPACE LAND. AS THESE PAYMENTS REDUCE A BALANCE SHEET LIABILITY OR ADD A NEW LAND ASSET, THEY DO NOT APPEAR DIRECTLY UNDER EXPENSES IN PART III, 4A & B, NOR ON PART XI IN THE STATEMENT OF FUNCTIONAL EXPENSES.
