LAND CONSERVATION PROGRAMSACQUISITION OF LAND OR INTEREST IN LAND THROUGH PURCHASES OR DONATIONS FROM WILLING LANDOWNERS. MANAGEMENT AND RESTORATION ACTIVITIES ON APPROXIMATELY 4,414 ACRES OF OWNED LANDS IN WESTERN OREGON. THE TRUST ALSO MONITORED 36 CONSERVATION EASEMENTS COVERING 4,619 ACRES THROUGHOUT THE SERVICE AREA.CONDUCT EDUCATIONAL AND INFORMATIONAL MEETINGS WITH LANDOWNERS AND CONSERVATION PARTNERS THROUGHOUT SERVICE AREA. PARTICIPATE IN STRATEGIC CONSERVATION PLANNING EFFORTS WITH AGENCY AND OTHER PARTNERS IN WESTERN OREGON.


PUBLIC OUTREACH PROGRAMSCONDUCT TOURS OF OWNED PROPERTIES AND EASEMENTS FOR THE PUBLIC. PUBLISH MATERIALS ABOUT LAND PROTECTION AND RESTORATION, AND PARTICIPATE IN STATEWIDE LAND CONSERVATION EFFORTS. SHARE IMAGES AND STORIES FROM MRT LANDS THROUGH THE MEDIA, AND REPRESENT THE VALUES OF LAND CONSERVATION IN COMMUNITY MEETINGS. WORK WITH COMMUNITY MEMBERS AND COMMUNITY SUPPORT ORGANIZATIONS WORKING TO STABILIZE AND REBUILD THE MCKENZIE VALLEY AFTER THE SEPTEMBER 2020 HOLIDAY FARM FIRE.
