COMMUNITY CENTER PROVIDING WEEKLY RECREATIONAL EVENTS AND NUTRITION FOR SENIOR CITIZENS IN THE ARES. SERVICE PROVIDED TO OVER 400 INDIVIDUALS. THE NUTRITION PROGRAM IS THE PROVIDER OF MEALS FOR THE INDEPENDENCE MEALS ON WHEELS AND JOBONE SHELTER WORKSHOP. NWCDC PROVIDED AN AVERAGE OF 175 LUNCHES PER DAY. NWCDC OFFER NUMEROUS ACTIVITIES AND ACCESS TO OTHER PROGRAMS THROUGH ITS STAFF, PARTNERS AND VOLUNTEERS. OUR 150+ VOLUNTEERS DEVOTED OVER 6,000 HOURS.
COMMUNITY ACTION. THE NWCDC WORKED TOGETHER TO ASSIST IN PROVIDING ASSISTANCE TO THE COMMUNITY. SEVERAL PROGRAMS SUCH AS TABITHA'S CLOSET, NEIGHBORHOOD NETWORK, AND NEIGHBORHOOD ORGANIZATIONS AFFECT POSITIVELY AND BRING VALUE AND PROGRAMS TO HELP THOSE WITHIN THE AREA TO LIVE A BETTER LIFE THROUGH HEALTH INITIATIVES, FOR FOOD, NON-SMOKING, EXERCISE, ETC.
