CHILDREN'S PROGRAMS PROVIDED NEW CLOTHING AND SHOES TO 2,523 CHILDREN LIVING IN POVERTY. ONE HUNDRED FIFTY NEW CLOTHING BUNDLES WERE PROVIDED TO THE FOSTER CARE SYSTEM FOR FOSTER CHILDREN. 1,535 NEW BOOKS WERE DISTRIBUTED TO CHILDREN IN KINDERGARTEN THROUGH 8TH GRADE. ONE HUNDRED GIRLS BORROWED DRESSES AND OTHER ITEMS FOR PROM FROM CINDERELLA'S CLOSET.
ADULT PROGRAMS SERVED MEDICAID RESIDENTS AT 17 LONG-TERM CARE FACILITIES BY FULFILLING 390 SECRET SANTA REQUESTS, DELIVERING 540 PERSONALIZED CARDS, AND PROVIDING HYGIENE ITEMS AND OTHER SPECIAL REQUESTED ITEMS TO 860 LOW INCOME SENIORS. DELIVERED 1,449 KNITTED AND SEWN HATS TO CANCER PATIENTS, PREEMIES/NEWBORNS AND HOMELESS. DELIVERED 218 KNITTED KNOCKERS AND 55 COMFORT SHAWLS TO PATIENTS UNDERGOING CHEMOTHERAPY.
