CHILD ABUSE NETWORK (CAN) BRINGING TOGETHER COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS TOWARD THE PREVENTION OF CHILD ABUSE IN OUR COMMUNITY.
THE JACKSON COUNTY CONTINUUM OF CARE (FORMERLY KNOWN AS THE HOMELESS TASK FORCE OR HTF), A COLLABORATIVE PLANNING AND ACTION PROGRAM TO END HOUSING INSECURITY AND JACKSON COUNTYS OFFICIAL HUD ORGANIZING HUB. IT OVERSEES PROJECT COMMUNITY CONNECT, ANNUALLY BRINGING PROGRAM PROVIDERS UNDER ONE ROOF WITH COMPREHENSIVE SERVICES FOR MORE THAN 500 PEOPLE LOOKING FOR HELP AND A WAY TO IMPROVE THEIR LIVES. IT IS A COMMUNITY EMBRACED EVENT AIMED AT PREVENTING AND ENDING HOUSING INSECURITY.THIS PROGRAM WAS DISSOLVED AS PART OF JCCSC AND MOVED TO A NONPROFIT AGENCY, ACCESS, INC., WITH GREATER CAPACITY TO GROW THE PROGRAM.
BASE SOUTHERN OREGON - BASE SERVES TO CREATE A WELCOMING AND SUPPORTIVE COMMUNITY WHERE BLACK PEOPLE IN SOUTHERN OREGON FEEL SAFE, RESPECTED, AND COMFORTABLE BEING THEMSELVES WHEN EXPRESSING ANY ASPECT OF THEIR MANY CULTURAL ETHNICITIES. WE ARE A COMMUNITY PLATFORM FOR CONNECTION, COLLABORATION, AND PROSPERITY. PROGRAMS INCLUDE, AFROSCOUTZ, SAY THEIR NAMES, AND EQUITY LIAISON. THIS PROGRAM WAS ADDED DURING FISCAL YEAR ENDING 6/30/21.
