IN 2023, DFSO PROVIDED 2,500 SERVICES, INCLUDING CLOTHING, WRAPAROUND SUPPORT, AND CAREER DEVELOPMENT RESOURCES. OUR WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS HAVE HELPED CLIENTS STABILIZE AND BALANCE WORK DURING FINANCIALLY DIFFICULT TIMES. WITH SKILL-BASED VOLUNTEERS, WE'VE HOSTED WORKSHOPS ON RESUME BUILDING, FINANCIAL LITERACY, MYERS BRIGGS ASSESSMENTS, JOB RETENTION, AND UP-SKILLING IN APPLICATIONS SUCH AS MICROSOFT SUITE, GOOGLE, CANVA, AND JOB-SEARCH ENGINES. WE'VE ALSO ADDED IN-PERSON AND REMOTE DROP-IN' TIMES TO OUR CAREER EDUCATION LAB TO CREATE A MORE INCLUSIVE ENVIRONMENT. IN 2023, WE LAUNCHED OUR NAVIGATION PROGRAM TO SUPPORT CLIENTS IN ACCESSING ESSENTIAL COMMUNITY SERVICES WHILE WORKING ON THEIR JOB SEARCH. THIS HAS MADE A SIGNIFICANT DIFFERENCE IN OUR PARTICIPANTS' LIVES BY PROVIDING THEM WITH NECESSARY SUPPORT AND RESOURCES.
