WIN WORKS TO SUPPORT AND IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF CARE IN THE FIELD OF NEPHROLOGY BY SUPPORTING THE EXCHANGE OF PROFESSIONAL INFORMATION BETWEEN PROFESSIONALS IN THE FIELD. WIN PROVIDES ACCESS TO SENIOR WOMEN AND MEN IN THE FIELD OF NEPHROLOGY WHO ARE MOTIVATED TO HELP MENTOR MORE JUNIOR PHYSICIANS AND SCIENTISTS. IN ADDITION, WIN STRIVES TO HELP WOMEN ADVANCE IN THE FIELD OF NEPHROLOGY. WIN ENCOURAGES RESEARCH TO DEVELOP A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF THE FEMALE KIDNEY AND IMPROVE THE HEALTH OF WOMEN. WIN PROVIDES A COMMUNITY OF FEMALE MDS AND PHDS IN NEPHROLOGY TO HELP ACHIEVE PROFESSIONAL GOALS. DURING THE ANNUAL ASN KIDNEY WEEK, WIN SPONSORS A LUNCHEON LECTURE, BY A WELL-KNOWN SPEAKER, IN MEMORY OF DR. NANCY GARY, WIN CO-FOUNDER AND FIRST PRESIDENT.
