SUPPORT OF AFFILIATES: APPROXIMATELY 56 LOCAL SERVICE PROVIDERS OR UCP AFFILIATES (54 IN THE US AND 2 IN CANADA) REACH MORE THAN 155,000 INDIVIDUALS AND THEIR FAMILIES ANNUALLY. AFFILIATE SERVICES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO, HOUSING, CLINICAL THERAPIES, ASSISTIVE TECHNOLOGY TRAINING, EARLY INTERVENTION PROGRAMS, TRANSPORTATION, INDIVIDUAL AND FAMILY SUPPORT, SOCIAL AND RECREATION PROGRAMS, COMMUNITY LIVING, STATE AND LOCAL REFERRALS, EMPLOYMENT ASSISTANCE AND TRAINING, ADVOCACY, INFORMATION, RESEARCH, REFERRAL AND PROMOTING RESEARCH. UCP OFFERS FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE THROUGH OUR NON-FEDERAL GRANT PROGRAM, THE BELLOWS GRANT, WHICH HELPS PAY FOR ASSISTIVE TECHNOLOGY EQUIPMENT TO INDIVIDUALS WITH DISABILITIES THAT CANNOT AFFORD TO PURCHASE THIS LIFE CHANGING EQUIPMENT OR SPECIAL DEVICES.
