MEMBERSHIP SERVICES - PIDS PROVIDES VARIOUS SERVICES FOR THE BENEFIT OF ITS MEMBERS, SUCH AS EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS AND WRITING LETTERS OF SUPPORT OR OPPOSITION TO LEGISLATION AFFECTING CHILDREN. THEY ALSO COLLABORATE WITH OTHER MEDICAL ORGANIZATIONS AND KEEP MEMBERS INFORMED WITH FREQUENT NEWS AND IMMUNIZATION UPDATES. THEY ALSO PROVIDE FELLOWSHIP RESOURCES AND A DATABASE OF RESEARCH FUNDING SOURCES.

THE CONFERENCE ALSO HAS A SERIES OF CAREER DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOPS, AND THE OPPORTUNITY FOR ATTENDEES TO PRESENT THEIR ORIGINAL RESEARCH TO COLLEAGUES IN PEDIATRIC INFECTIOUS DISEASES. THE PAS SYMPOSIUM IS ALSO PRESENTED ANNUALLY AND SHARES THE LATEST ACADEMIC AND RESEARCH IN PEDIATRIC INFECTIOUS DISEASES. PREPID IS A COMPREHENSIVE REVIEW AND UPDATE OF PEDIATRIC INFECTIOUS DISEASES FOR GENERAL PEDIATRICIANS AND PEDIATRIC INFECTIOUS DISEASE PHYSICIANS PREPARING FOR THE CERTIFYING BOARD EXAM.
