AT THE 2023 SUPERSTARS WRITING SEMINARS, OUR CONFERENCE OFFERED EDUCATIONAL AND WORKSHOP CONTENT FROM 90 DIFFERENT SPEAKERS, RESULTING IN 110 HOURS OF SESSIONS FOR NEARLY 300 ATTENDEES. OUR SPEAKERS AND INDUSTRY PROS ALSO OFFERED THEIR EXPERTISE IN ONE-ON-ONE PITCH APPOINTMENTS, PITCH PRACTICES, AND CAREER COUNSELING SESSIONS -- A TOTAL OF 49 HOURS DEVOTED TO THESE ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES. THESE PERSONALIZED SESSIONS GAVE ATTENDEES THE OPPORTUNITY TO MAKE A SUCCESSFUL PITCH TO AN ACQUIRING AGENT OR EDITOR IN THE TRADITIONAL PUBLISHING INDUSTRY, OR GARNER ADVICE FROM AN INDUSTRY PRO ON HOW TO FURTHER THEIR AUTHOR CAREER. POWERPOINT SLIDES AND WORKSHOP HANDOUTS WERE MADE DIGITALLY AVAILABLE TO ALL ATTENDEES. THANKS TO THE GENEROUS DONATIONS FROM INDIVIDUAL MEMMBERS AND CONTRIBUTING COMPANIES, SUPERSTARS WRITING WAS ABLE TO AWARD SCHOLARSHIPS TO 15 PEOPLE WHO WOULD OTHERWISE NOT HAVE BEEN ABLE TO ATTEND.
