FI: OUR FISCAL INTERMEDIARY SERVICES MAKE IT POSSIBLE FOR DISABLED AND ELDER INDIVIDUALS TO RECEIVE ASSISTANCE IN THEIR HOMES THROUGH PROMPT AND ACCURATE PAYMENT OF HOME CARE WORKERS.
PAS: OUR PERSONAL ASSISTANCE (PAS) PROGRAMS ALLOW ELIGIBLE INDIVIDUALS TO HIRE PERSONAL CARE ATTENDANTS (PCA) TO HELP THEM REMAIN INDEPENDENT, HEALTHY, SAFE, AND IN THEIR OWN HOMES. THE PROGRAMS PROVIDE EDUCATION, SUPPORT AND NECESSARY RESOURCES TO PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES SO THEY MAY ACT AS INDEPENDENT EMPLOYERS FOR THEIR PCAS.
INDEPENDENT LIVING PROGRAM: STAVROS INDEPENDENT LIVING PROGRAM ENABLES PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES TO LIVE IN AN ENVIRONMENT THAT ENCOURAGES AND SUPPORTS THE RIGHTS OF PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES TO ACHIEVE AND MAINTAIN A SENSE OF AUTONOMY IN THEIR LIVES. OUR PROGRAM ACCOMPLISHES THIS BY PROVIDING A VARIETY OF PEER BASED COUNSELING, SKILLS TRAINING, GENERAL ENCOURAGEMENT, AND SUPPORT TO PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES IN NEED OF SUCH ASSISTANCE.
