STIC'S MISSION IS TO SHAPE A WORLD IN WHICH PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES ARE EMPOWERED TO LIVE FULLY INTEGRATED LIVES IN THEIR COMMUNITIES. WE OFFER ASSISTANCE, ADVOCACY AND SERVICES TO CHILDREN AND ADULTS WITH ALL DISABILITIES, INCREASING THEIR INDEPENDENCE AND ALLOWING THEM TO PURSUE THEIR DREAMS. WE ALSO SUPPORT THEIR FAMILIES AND FRIENDS, AS WELL AS BUSINESSES, AGENCIES, AND GOVERNMENTAL ENTITIES,ENABLING THEM TO BETTER MEET THE NEEDS OF PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES. FINALLY, WE EDUCATE AND INFLUENCE OUR COMMUNITY AND PUBLIC POLICY SO THAT EVERYONE CAN "ACCESS THEIR WORLD."

CONSUMER DIRECTED PERSONAL ASSISTANCE (CDPAS) - IS A PROGRAM WHERE PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES WHO ARE MEDICAID ELIGIBLE RECRUIT, HIRE, TRAIN, SUPERVISE AND DISMISS (IF NECESSARY) THEIR OWN PERSONAL ASSISTANTS. APPROXIMATELY 394 CONSUMERS SERVED.
OFFICE FOR PERSONS WITH DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING SERVICES: COMMUNITY HABILITATION SERVICES, FI SELF DIRECTED SERVICES, SUPPORTED EMPLOYMENT, FAMILY SUPPORT SERVICES AND INDIVIDUAL SUPPORT SERVICES. 256 PEOPLE WERE SERVED IN 2021.
NYSED AND OTHER SERVICES - IS A PROGRAM THAT PROVIDES A WIDE RANGE OF SERVICES TO PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES AND THEIR FAMILIES WITH THE GOAL OF COMMUNITY INTEGRATION.
