THE RESIDENTIAL PROGRAM PROVIDES A WIDE RANGE OF SUPPORT AND SERVICES TO THE RESIDENTS OF THE HOUSES LOCATED AT 1751 AND 1765 WASHINGTON ST., 13-15 WILTSHIRE RD., 61 SHARPE RD., MEDICAL HOME, NEWTON AND 16 WILLIAMS ST. BROOKLINE (HUMANITY HOUSE), WHILE ENSURING THAT THESE SERVICES REFLECT THE INDIVIDUAL NEEDS OF THE PEOPLE LIVING THERE. THE RESIDENTS ARE MEMBERS OF THE BROOKLINE AND NEWTON, MASSACHUSETTS COMMUNITIES. THE PROGRAM SERVED 26 CLIENTS DURING THE YEAR.
INTENSIVE DAY PROGRAM PROVIDES ADULTS WITH COMPLEX MEDICAL NEEDS AND PROFOUND DISABILITIES WITH INDIVIDUALIZED PROGRAMS WHICH INCLUDE PHYSICAL AND COMMUNICATION THERAPIES, WITH A GOAL TO INCREASE INDEPENDENCE. THE PROGRAM SERVED 55 CLIENTS DURING THE YEAR.
DAY HABILITATION PROGRAM OFFERS DEVELOPMENTAL SKILLS TRAINING WHICH FOCUSES ON IMPROVING COMMUNICATION SKILLS, ATTENTION SPAN, BEHAVIOR MANAGEMENT AND FUNCTIONAL EVERYDAY SKILLS, WHILE INCORPORATING COMMUNITY INTEGRATION AND CHOICE MAKING WITHIN EACH INDIVIDUAL'S SCHEDULE.
