Describe the Organization's Program Activity:
Part 3
THIS YEAR, LIVING WITH HARMONY SUCCESSFULLY DID PUBLIC OUTREACH ABOUT OUR ORGANIZATION AND PLANET-BASED LIVING THROUGH TABLING AT THE BOULDER COUNTY FARMER'S MARKET AND OTHER LOCAL FESTIVALS, EVENTS, BOTH LOCALLY AND ACROSS THE COUNTRY AND MARKETS. WE REACHED THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE ONLINE THROUGH EDUCATIONAL PODCASTS AND ZOOM SERIES. WE PARTICIPATED WITH LANDFILL DIVERSION AND EDUCATION BY COLLECTING HARD-TO-RECYCLE ITEMS FROM LOCAL BUSINESSES AND GETTING THEM TO THE RECYCLING CENTER. WE ALSO MANAGED THE LANDFILL DIVERSION AND COMPOSTING SERVICES AT A FEW EVENTS THIS YEAR. WE SUCCESSFULLY CO-HOSTED THE 2ND ANNUAL PLANET-BASED LIVING FESTIVAL, AN ENVIRONMENTAL FESTIVAL IN BOULDER, THAT HELPS TO EDUCATE AND DEMONSTRATE SOME OF THE PRINCIPLES OF PLANET-BASED LIVING. IN ADDITION TO OUTREACH AND THE CONTINUAL CARE OF OUR SANCTUARY RESIDENTS, WE ADOPTED 2 NEW ANIMAL RESIDENTS THIS YEAR. WE ALSO CONTINUED TO FUNDRAISE TO RAISE THE FUNDS NEEDED TO PURCHASE A PROPERTY WHERE WE CAN HOUSE OUR CURRENT ANIMAL SANCTUARY RESIDENTS, EXPAND OUR ANIMAL RESCUE AND ALSO HAVE A PLACE WHERE WE CAN HELP PRESERVE SOME OF OUR NATIVE FLORA AND WILDLIFE SPECIES. IDEALLY, THIS PROPERTY WILL BE FREE FROM THE RISK OF DEVELOPMENT AND WILL SERVE AS A MODEL/EDUCATIONAL CENTER THAT HELPS DEMONSTRATE PLANET-BASED LIVING CONCEPTS AND PRINCIPLES WITH VISITORS AND ONLINE.
