THE MISSOURI DENTAL ASSOCIATION IS A UNIFIED ORGANIZATION OF INDIVIDUAL MEMBERS COMMITTED TO THE HIGHEST QUALITY CARE FOR THE PUBLIC. IT IS THE MODEL RESOURCE FOR ADVOCACY, EDUCATION, COMMUNICATION, INFORMATION, AND FELLOWSHIP.

THE MDA CONTINUES TO OFFER THE EXPANDED FUNCTIONS FOR DENTAL ASSISTANTS (EFDA) PROGRAM MODULES. DURING 2021, COURSES IN RESTORATIVE, ORTHODONTIC, REMOVABLE PROSTHETICS, AND FIXED PROSTHETICS WERE OFFERED TO CLOSE TO 119 STUDENTS.
WE WERE ABLE TO HAVE OUR SUMMER CE EVENT, CONNECT4SUCCESS ANNUAL CONFERENCE IN PERSON FOR 2021, JUNE 18-19 AT CAMDEN ON THE LAKE AT THE LAKE OF THE OZARKS. THE EVENT WAS FOR ALL DENTISTS AND INCLUDED A SPECIAL TRACK FOR NEW DENTISTS AND THE DENTAL TEAM. THIS YEAR, WE HAD TO CLOSE REGISTRATION EARLY BECAUSE WE HIT OUR MAX CAPACITY. THERE WERE 200 TOTAL ATTENDEES AND 24 EXHIBIT BOOTHS AND 39 COMPANY REPRESENTATIVES IN ATTENDANCE. SPEAKERS AND PROGRAMS:DR. THOMAS DUDNEYMACDENTISTRY: THE WHAT, WHEN, HOW AND WHY OF CURRENT INDIRECT RESTORATIVE MATERIALS, ADHESIVES AND CEMENTSWHATS A DENTIST TO DO?
