THE ASSOCIATION'S MISSION IS TO PROVIDE LEADERSHIP ON RURAL HEALTH ISSUES THROUGH ADVOCACY, COMMUNICATIONS, EDUCATION, AND RESEARCH.

Describe the Organization's Program Activity:

FOR MORE THAN 30 YEARS, THE NATIONAL RURAL HEALTH ASSOCIATION (NRHA) HAS BEEN SERVING RURAL COMMUNITIES BY ADVANCING AND PUBLICIZING RURAL HEALTH ISSUES AND SEEKING TO SOLVE RURAL HEALTH CARE CHALLENGES. NRHA PROGRAMS SERVE RURAL COMMUNITIES BY PROVIDING RELEVANT AND TIMELY INFORMATION AND BEST PRACTICES TO ALL PEOPLE WHO CARE ABOUT THE HEALTH OF RURAL AMERICA THROUGH: WORKSHOPS, CONFERENCES, TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE, AND OTHER OUTREACH EFFORTS. IN 2023, NRHA HELD NINE DIFFERENT CONFERENCES FOCUSING ON ISSUES FACING RURAL HEALTH INCLUDING POLICY, INNOVATION, HEALTH EQUITY, CRITICAL ACCESS, RURAL CLINICS, AND COMMUNITY HEALTH CONNECTIONS ALONG WITH THE ANNUAL CONFERENCE. THERE WERE 4,369 ATTENDEES ACROSS THESE CONFERENCES.


NRHA WORKS WITH RURAL COMMUNITY AGENCIES ACROSS THE UNITED STATES TO STRENGTHEN RURAL COMMUNITIES THROUGH INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS AND INCREASED HEALTH CARE PROVIDER ACCESS.
