ADVOCACY/POLICY: TO PROACTIVELY POSITION THE NEBRASKA HOSPITAL ASSOCIATION (NHA) AS THE MOST RESPECTED, KNOWLEDGEABLE AND INFLUENTIAL RESOURCE FOR THE DEVELOPMENTOF HEALTH CARE POLICY BY PROVIDING STRONG LEADERSHIP, COMMUNICATING EFFECTIVELY AND STRATEGICALLY COLLABORATING WITH POLICYMAKERS, NHA MEMBERS AND OTHER STAKEHOLDERS. INFORMATION SERVICES: TO FACILITATE A LEARNING ENVIRONMENT IN PROVIDING HEALTH CARE THAT IS FREE FROM MEDICAL ERROR, UTILIZES AND SHARES EVIDENCE-BASED BEST PRACTICES, IS CUSTOMIZED TO MEET PATIENT SPECIFIC EXPECTATIONS AND VALUES AND SETS THE STANDARD IN THE STATE FOR SERVICE EXCELLENCE.
