ADVOCACY AND POLICY - TO PROMOTE THE HEALTH AND WELFARE OF MISSOURI CITIZENS BY ASSISTING HOSPITALS AND OTHER HEALTHCARE-RELATED ORGANIZATIONS. THIS ASSISTANCE INCLUDES SERVING AS AN ADVOCATE AND REPRESENTATIVE OF HOSPITALS TO CREATE AN ENVIRONMENT ENABLING HOSPITALS TO COORDINATE AND PROVIDE HEALTH SERVICES IN A COST-EFFECTIVE MANNER IN ORDER TO IMPROVE THE HEALTH STATUS IN THEIR COMMUNITIES.
COMMUNICATION, EDUCATION AND WORKFORCE INITIATIVES - COMMUNICATED WITH AND EDUCATED MEMBERS, POLICY LEADERS AND THE PUBLIC ON ISSUES THAT AFFECT THE ORGANIZATION, DELIVERY AND FINANCING OF HEALTH CARE SERVICES.
