MAPS GLOBAL ANNUAL MEETING: MAPS PROVIDES 2.5 DAYS OF EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOPS AND EXPERT PANEL DISCUSSIONS, ALONG WITH NETWORKING ACTIVITIES AND A DEDICATED FIELD MEDICAL PROGRAM, FOR LEADERS AND MEDICAL AFFAIRS PROFESSIONALS ACROSS THE GLOBE TO SHARE BEST PRACTICES AND UPSKILL IN KEY FUNCTIONAL AREAS. THE 2021 MEETING WAS CANCELLED DUE TO THE PANDEMIC, BUT REGISTRATIONS AND SPONSORSHIPS RESUMED IN Q4 FOR THE 2022 ANNUAL MEETING MARCH, SHOWING SIGNIFICANT PROMISE FOR A RETURN TO IN-PERSON CONFERENCES.
THE INDUSTRY PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM (IPP) BRINGS TOGETHER EXECUTIVE LEADERS IN MEDICAL AFFAIRS FROM THE BIOPHARMACEUTICAL AND DEVICE INDUSTRY TO EXCHANGE CONCERNS, CHALLENGES AND IDEAS TO ADVANCE THE MEDICAL AFFAIRS PROFESSION THROUGH MAPS. IPP MEMBER COMPANIES PROVIDE ACCESS TO MAPS RESOURCES TO THEIR MEDICAL AFFARIS EMPLOYEES, AND COLLABORATE ON PROJECTS TO HELP ADVANCE THE PROFESSIONAL AND MAPS MEMBERS. WE SAW SIGNIFICANT GROWTH IN THE IPP PROGRAM DURING THE PANDEMIC, DEMONSTRATING THE NEED FOR VALUABLE RESOURCES AND CONNECTIVITY FOR MEDICAL AFFAIRS PROFESSIONALS.
MAPS PROVIDES A COMPREHENSIVE MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM WHICH INCLUDES INNOVATIVE LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS, STANDARDS AND GUIDANCE DOCUMENTS AND TOOLS, E-LEARNING MODULES, INFORMATIVE RESOURCES, LIVE AND ON-DEMAND WEBINARS, AND AN ACTIVE, ONGOING VIRTUAL COMMUNITY WITH DISCUSSION FORUMS AND ADDITIONAL RESOURCES. MEMBERSHIPS INCREASED 46% YEAR-END 2021 COMPARED TO YEAR-END 2020, WITH 7,100 ACTIVE MEMBERS BY THE END OF 2021. PARTNER CIRCLE: THE MAPS PARTNER CIRCLE HELPS ACCOMPLISH THE GOALS AND VISION OF OUR NON-PROFIT SOCIETY. THIS ANNUAL PRORAM PROVIDES OUR CONTRIBUTING SOLUTION PROVIDER PARTNERS WITH ACCESS TO PARTNER WITH MAPS LEADERSHIP, FACULTY, KEY DECISION MAKERS AND THOUGHT LEADERS IN MEDICAL AFFAIRS AS WE CONTINUE TO BRING VALUE AND GUIDANCE TO OUR MEMBERS AND THE MEDICAL AFFAIRS COMMUNITY AS A WHOLE.
