Describe the Organization's Program Activity:
Part 3 - Line 4a
JUBILEE VENTURES (JV) IS OUR "DEPARTMENT" THAT EXTENDS OPPORTUNITY, RESTORATION, AND OWNERSHIP TO THE MARGINS. THIS YEAR JV UTILIZED THE NETWORK WE DEVELOPED FROM OUR PREVIOUS TWO JOB FAIRS FOR "RETURNING CITIZENS" (THE WAY WE DESCRIBE MEN AND WOMEN COMING OUT OF INCARCERATION) TO AID THEM IN FINDING MEANINGFUL EMPLOYMENT AND CONNECTIONS. WE'VE ALSO DEVELOPED PROGRAMMING TO ENTER THE DUCOMB CENTER (A LOCAL RE-ENTRY CENTER) IN THE NEXT FISCAL YEAR (FALL 2022).
"POST COVID LOCKDOWNS" THE MAJORITY OF OUR PROGRAMMING HAS RETURNED, INCLUDING GED, ESL, POLICE ATHLETIC LEAGUES, PICKLEBALL FOR SR. CITIZENS, COMMUNITY TABLE TENNIS, ETC.). IT HAS BEEN WONDERFUL TO SEE THIS PROGRAMMING NOT JUST RETURN BUT ALSO GROW. WE'VE ALSO HAD THE PRIVILEGE TO HOST COMMUNITY EVENTS IN THE SPACE POST COVID-LOCKDOWNS AS WELL.
USAGE BY RIVERSIDE CHURCH FOR BOTH SUNDAY GATHERINGS AS WELL AS COMMUNITY OUTREACH. THE BEACON WAS STARTED BY RIVERSIDE CHURCH GROWTH (2011). RIVERSIDE HAS PARTICIPANT INVOLVEMENT AND DEVELOPMENT OF ~250 PEOPLE SERVED WEEKLY. ACCOUNTS FOR 20% OF THE FACILITY USAGE.
VARIOUS OTHER ACTIVITIES THAT CAPTURE THE REMAINING EXPENSES AND INCOME (FOR EXAMPLE, FUTURE SOLAR PROJECT THAT WILL MAINLY HIT NEXT FISCAL YEAR). ADDITIONAL INCOME IS FROM THE INITIAL WORK FOR A FUTURE CAPITAL CAMPAIGN WE ARE DEVELOPING.
