IN 2020, RIVERBEND STADIUM AUTHORITY, INC. (RSA) WAS IN THE PROCESS OF CONSTRUCTING A MULTI-PURPOSE STADIUM. STADIUM CONSTRUCTION WAS COMPLETED IN 2021, AND RSA BEGAN PERFORMING PROGRAM SERVICES IN 2021. RSA PERFORMS VARIOUS PROGRAMS IN CONJUNCTION WITH LESSENING THE BURDENS OF GOVERNMENT, IN THIS CASE, THE CITY OF BELOIT, BY OWNING AND OPERATING A MULTI-PURPOSE FACILITY AND MAKING IT AVAILABLE FOR USE BY VARIOUS COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS. IN 2021, THE STADIUM WAS USED FOR APPROXIMATELY ONE HUNDRED DIFFERENT EVENTS, AND ATTENDED BY APPROXIMATELY 100,000 PERSONS. THE EVENTS HELD AT THE STADIUM INCLUDED; MINOR LEAGUE BASEBALL GAMES, LOCAL HIGH SCHOOL SPORTS EVENTS, LOCAL COLLEGE SPORTS EVENTS, A 4TH OF JULY CELEBRATION, ICE SKATING, MOVIE NIGHTS, AND NUMEROUS OTHER COMMUNITY EVENTS.
