WE ALSO TEACH THE CAMPERS AS WELL AS ALL OF OUR YOUTH ABOUT THE HISTORY OF THE SPORT AND SHARE FACTS FROM DETROIT'S CYCLING HISTORY THAT SERVE AS INSPIRATION AND A ROLE MODEL. NUTRITION AND HEALTHY CHOICES ARE ALSO PART OF THE 4DAY SESSIONS. IN ADDITION TO THE CYCLING, WE ALSO HAVE DEDICATED SPACE THE EDDIE TOLAN OVAL FOR RUNNING, WALKING OR INLINE SKATING. THIS 1/8TH MILE CEMENT TRACK IS UNIQUE IN THE AREA, AND A YEARROUND OPTION FOR STARTING AND MAINTAINING A FITNESS ROUTINE. IN THIS SPACE WE ALSO HOST HEALTH FAIRS, COMMUNITY GATHERINGS, ETC.

IN ADDITION, ON CERTAIN WEEKENDS DETROIT FITNESS FOUNDATION WILL HOST CYCLING COMPETITIONS THAT WILL BE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC, TO PROVIDE COMMUNITY MEMBERS WITH DEMONSTRATIONS OF THE LEVEL OF SKILL THAT CAN BE ACHIEVED IN THE SPORT OF CYCLING.
