FITNESS FACILITY: THE MEADE ACTIVITY CENTER (MAC) CURRENTLY OPERATES FACILITIES INCLUDING OUTDOOR AQUATICS, THREE TENNIS COURTS, A 9-HOLE GOLF COURSE & PRACTICE FACILITY, AND A WORKOUT FACILITY. ALL FACILITIES ARE OPEN TO THE COMMUNITY AND ALLOW THE MAC TO PROVIDE SPECIFIC PROGRAMMING AND INSTRUCTION IN EACH ARREA. THE MAC OFFERS YOUTH GOLF, TENNIS, SWIM LESSONS, VOLLEYBALL, AND ADULT AQUATIC PROGRAMS ON SITE.
GOLF PROGRAM: THE MAC OFFERS A VARIETY OF GOLF PROGRAMS AND LESSONS FOR INDIVIDUALS AND YOUTH OF ALL AGES IN ORDER TO BE ABLE TO LEARN ABOUT GOLF, LEARN ABOUT THE LIFE LESSONS THAT CAN BE DERRIVED FROM GOLF, PLAY GOLF, AND ENJOY GOLF.

THE REC LEAGUE AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM: THE AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAM WAS OFFERED AT DAVID T. WILSON SCHOOL, BRANDENBURG PRIMARY, AND FLAHERTY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL IN 2017. STUDENTS TOOK PART IN THE PROGRAM WHICH FOCUSES ON PROVIDING MODERATE TO RIGOROUS PHYSICAL ACTIVITY FOR THE PARTICIPANTS WHILE EDUCATING THOSE INVOLVED ABOUT PROPER NUTRITION.
