A COMMUNITY-FOCUSED NON-PROFIT OLD KING'S ORCHARD COMMUNITY CENTER OKOCC WAS ESTABLISHED IN 2001 WITH THE MISSION OF PROVIDING A SAFE ENVIRONMENT FOR CHILDREN AND SENIORS IN THE OKO NEIGHBORHOOD. OVER THE YEARS THE PROGRAMMING HAS EXPANDED TO SERVE ALL AGES THROUGHOUT THE COMMUNITY.

WAY FINDERS: A SOCIAL INTERVENTION PROGRAM BY OKOCC FOR ADULTS BETWEEN 18-24 THAT ASSISTS WITH JOB READINESS HOUSING ASSISTANCE FAMILY SUPPORT AND EDUCATION. FOOD BASKETS: OKOCC PROVIDES FREE FOOD BOXES EVERY THIRD THURSDAY OF THE MONTH. COMMUNITY SERVICE HOURS: OKOCC PROVIDES THE OPPORTUNITY FOR INDIVIDUALS WHO LOOKING TO VOLUNTEER OR COMPLETE THEIR COMMUNITY SERVICE HOURS.
OKO WRESTLING CLUB: THIS PROGRAM IS AIMED AT YOUTH BETWEEN THE AGES OF 8-14 YEARS OLD WHO ARE INTERESTED IN WRESTLING AS A FORM OF SPORT. JUVENILE REDEPLOY ILLINOIS: THIS INITIATIVE BY OKOCC IS AIMED AT REDUCING YOUTH INCARCERATION IN THE DEPARTMENT OF JUVENILE JUSTICE THROUGH COMMUNITY-BASED INITIATIVES THAT ARE BASED ON RESEARCH PROTECT PUBLIC SAFETY AND SUPPORT POSITIVE OUTCOMES FOR YOUNG PEOPLE. ACADEMIC SUPPORT - THEOKOCC 4-H PROGRAM CURRICULUM FOCUSES ON LEARNING BY DOING BY ENHANCING PARTICIPANTS IN AREAS SUCH ASAEROSPACE PHOTOGRAPHY AND MANY MORE.
