LRLT HOLDS A TOTAL OF THIRTEEN CONSERVATION EASEMENTS TOTALING 13,553 ACRES IN LEMHI AND CUSTER COUNTIES AND OWNS SIX PIECES OF PROPERTY, FIVE OF WHICH ARE MANAGED FOR CONSERVATION PURPOSES, AND THE SIXTH BEING OUR OFFICE BUILDING. IN ADDITION TO OUR LAND PROTECTION WORK, LRLT IMPLEMENTED ONE LARGE SCALE HABITAT RESTORATION PROJECT IMPROVING HABITAT FOR CHINOOK SALMON AND STEELHEAD ON A LEMHI RIVER TRIBUTARY ON A CONSERVED PROPERTY. BEYOND OUR CONVERVATION WORK, LRLT HOSTED ONE COMMUNITY EVENT AND ASSISTED WITH EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMING IN THE SALMON SCHOOL GARDEN. LRLT ALSO SERVES AS THE FISCAL SPONSOR FOR THE SALMON SCHOOL GARDEN PROJECT, PLAYING AN ACTIVE ROLE IN AND PROVIDING FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT AND OVERSIGHT FOR THE ORGANIZATION.
