TO PROMOTE ECONOMIC AND FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE SMALL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AND BUILD ASSETS WITHIN THE YUROK TRIBAL JURISDICTION AMONG TRIBAL MEMBERS IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR ITS PEOPLE AND COMMUNITIES.

YUROK ALLIANCE FOR NORTHERN CALIFORNIA HOUSING FACILITATED A GRANT PROGRAM ON BEHALF OF THE YUROK TRIBE. WE WERE PROVIDED WITH $2,100,000 IN FUNDING TO BE PROVIDED TO ELIGIBLE YUROK TRIBAL MEMBERS WHO OWN A SMALL BUSINESS AND SUFFERED A LOSS OF REVENUE DUE TO COVID-19. YANCH CREATED A SMALL BUSINESS GRANT PROGRAM AND ASSISTED 198 SMALL BUSINESSES WITHIN A TWO MONTH PERIOD. FUNDING FOR THIS PROGRAM WAS RECORDED AS REVENUE AND THEN AS AN EXPENSE AS EACH GRANT WAS AWARDED.
PROVIDING LOANS TO TRIBAL MEMBERS FOR DEBT CONSOLIDATION SMALL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AND PERSONAL LOANS. EVEN DURING THE PANDEMIC WE WERE ABLE TO CLOSE 8 LOANS TO NEW CLIENTS.
