BUILDING POWER PROGRAM - THE BUILDING POWER PROGRAM EXISTS TO BUILD NEW CONSTITUENCIES AND REGIONAL POWER. IN BATTLEGROUND REGIONS ACROSS CALIFORNIA, WE MOBILIZE COMMUNITIES OF COLOR AND YOUTH AROUND ENVIRONMENTAL JUSTICE POLICY PRIORITIES AND TRAIN LOCAL POLICY MAKERS AND ADVOCATES TO PUSH FOR THE PRIORITIZATION OF BOLD CLIMATE POLICY SOLUTIONS AND STRENGTHENING DEMOCRACY.
REGULATORY PROGRAM - THE REGULATORY ADVOCACY PROGRAM IS OPERATED ACROSS THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA TO PASS MORE STRINGENT CLEAN ENERGY AND TRANSPORTATION REGULATIONS. WE ENGAGE WITH STATE REGULATORY AGENCIES, BOARDS, AND COMMISSIONS THAT ARE TASKED WITH ACTUALLY IMPLEMENTING CLEAN ENERGY AND DECARBONIZATION TARGETS THAT ARE MANDATED BY STATE LAW.
THE CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL VOTERS DEMOCRACY PROGRAM WORKS TO EXPAND AND EDUCATE THE ELECTORATE, CLOSE VOTER PARTICIPATION GAPS, AND STRENGTHEN DEMOCRACY ACROSS THE STATE TO CREATE A TRULY PARTICIPATORY DEMOCRACY.
