NEXTGEN EDUCATION FUND'S MISSION IS TO EDUCATE, MOBILIZE, AND ORGANIZE YOUNG PEOPLE (AGES 18-35) AND PROMOTE YOUTH CIVIC ENGAGEMENT THROUGH VOTER EDUCATION, VOTER REGISTRATION AND GET-OUT-THE-VOTE ACTIVITIES.

NEXTGEN EDUCATION FUND AIMS TO BE THE LARGEST YOUTH CIVIC ENGAGEMENT ORGANIZATION IN THE COUNTRY. WE ARE A MULTI-ISSUE AND MULTI-RACIAL ORGANIZATION THAT EDUCATES AND EMPOWERS YOUNG PEOPLE TO TRANSFORM OUR COUNTRY AND SOLVE THE CHALLENGES EARLIER GENERATIONS HAVE FAILED TO ADDRESS. OUR HOLISTIC STRATEGY UTILIZES ON-THE-GROUND FIELD OPERATIONS, SOPHISTICATED AND CREATIVE ONLINE ORGANIZING, SOCIAL MEDIA OUTREACH INCLUDING INFLUENCER PROGRAMS, PAID MEDIA EFFORTS, AND NATIONAL DISTRIBUTED PROGRAMS. THROUGH THIS INTEGRATED APPROACH, NEXTGEN EDUCATION FUND CONNECTS WITH AND MOBILIZES MILLIONS OF YOUNG PEOPLE EACH YEAR TO ELEVATE THEIR VOICES IN OUR COUNTRY'S DEMOCRATIC PROCESS. IN 2021, MANAGEMENT & ADMINISTRATIVE AND FUNDRAISING EXPENSES COMPRISED A LARGER PORTION OF TOTAL EXPENSES THAN THEY WILL ON AN ONGOING BASIS. DURING THE YEAR, THE ORGANIZATION SPENT A CONSIDERABLE AMOUNT OF TIME AND EXPENSE LAYING THE GROUNDWORK FOR THE NEW ORGANIZATION. ACTIVITIES INCLUDED DEVELOPING THE ORGANIZATION'S LEGAL FRAMEWORK, FUNDRAISING MODEL, POLICIES AND PROCEDURES, STRATEGY, AND PROGRAM. IN FUTURE YEARS, THE ORGANIZATION EXPECTS TO SPEND MORE TIME AND EXPENSE ON THEIR PROGRAM ACTIVITIES AS COMPARED TO MANAGEMENT & ADMINISTRATIVE AND FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES.
