THE FOUNDATION 2022 POLICY RESEARCH AND ADVOCACY CENTERED ON INDENTIFYING KEY POLICY AREAS OF CONCERN TO THE COMMUNITIES OF COLOR IN CALIFORNIA FOR THE FORESEEABLE FUTURE. OUR GENERAL WORK INCLUDED RESEARCHING DEMOGRAPHIC AND GEOGRAPHIC CONCENTRATIONS AS WELL AS THIRD PARTY RESEARCH ON ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL ISSUES OF CONCERN TO OUR TARGET COMMUNITIES.


SHE THE PEOPLE BRINGS TOGETHER A NATIONAL NETWORK OF WOMEN OF COLOR - VOTERS, ORGANIZERS, MOVEMENT BUILDERS - TO TRANSFORM OUR DEMOCRACY. IN 2022, WE CONDUCTED A 10 STATE LISTENING TOURS TO HIGHLIGHT THE ISSUES WOMEN OF COLOR IDENTIFY AS MOST CRITICAL FOR THE COMMUNITIES WHERE THEY RESIDE, AND TO UNDERSTAND WHAT MOTIVATES THEIR VOTING BEHAVIOR AND ENGAGEMENT.
