PRODUCTIONS - EXPENSES RELATED TO PERFORMANCE OF MULTIPLE INTERDISCIPLINARY DANCE WORKS USING A VARIETY OF FORMS AND VENUES INCORPORATING FILM, VIDEO AND MUSIC TO EXPLORE MOVEMENT IN WAYS BEYOND THAT OF LIVE THEATRE. THIS YEAR INCLUDED A NEW PRODUCTION ENTITLED "NINETEEN TWENTY" THAT PREMIERED AT THE NEW PATRICIA RESER THEATER IN NEIGHBORING BEAVERTON, A DANCE FILM FESTIVAL, AND AN INSTALLMENT OF A NEW FRANCHISE CALLED "SERIOUS CUPCAKES" WITH GUEST CHOREOGRAPHERS.
EDUCATIONAL OUTREACH - IS AN INTERACTIVE DANCE PRESENTATION PERFORMED IN SCHOOLS. IN ADDITION, THE PROGRAM INCLUDES WORKSHOPS, CLASSES AND RESIDENCIES. THE PURPOSE OF THE PROGRAM IS TO ENHANCE CORE CURRICULUM BY INTRODUCING CHILDREN IN KINDERGARTEN, ELEMENTARY, AND MIDDLE SCHOOL TO THE CREATIVE POSSIBILITIES OF CONTEMPORARY DANCE. ALSO INCLUDES IN STUDIO CLASSES BOTH IN PERSON AND VIRTUALLY TO STUDENTS OF ALL AGES.
TOURING - THE BODYVOX DANCE GROUP USUALLY TRAVELS EACH YEAR TO ANOTHER CITY IN ORDER TO PERFORM THEIR STYLE OF DANCE. THIS YEAR WE TRAVELED TO ASTORIA AND PRESENTED OUR HALLOWEEN SHOW "BLOODYVOX".
