THE CHAMBER ENGAGED IN A $2 MILLION VACCINATION INCENTIVE PROGRAM THAT HAS STATEWIDE REACH AND IMPACT. THE PROGRAM COMPRISED OF TWO PHASES. PHASE 1 WAS DISTRUBITING $1 MILLION TO DOZENS OF LOCAL CHAMBERS OF COMMERCE AND OTHER NON-PROFITS TO OFFER REGIONAL SPECIFIC INCENTIVES TO THEIR COMMUNITY MEMBERS TO GET VACCINATED AGAIN COVID 19. PHASE 2 WAS A STATEWIDE VACCINATION SWEEPSTAKES THAT PROVIDED NINE WEEKLY DRAWINGS OF $49K IN CASH FOR ADULTS AND $49K IN SCHOLARSHIPS FOR YOUTH FOR NEWLY AND PREVIOUSLY VACCINATED ALASKANS.


EVENTS. OUR IN-PERSON AND VIRTUAL EVENTS ARE USED TO FURTHER INFORM OUR MEMBERSHIP AND THE BROADER PUBLIC ABOUT POLICY ISSUES IMPACTING THE BUSINESS COMMUNITY THROUGHOUT ALASKA AS WELL AS PROVIDE IMPORTANT UPDATES ON ECONOMIC ACTIVITY, OPPORTUNITIES, AND CHALLENGES IN OUR CURRENT LANDSCAPE.


COMMUNICATIONS: AS A STATEWIDE ORGANIZATION WITH MEMBERS SCATTERED IN COMMUNITIES ACROSS THE GREAT STATE OF ALASKA, COMMUNICATIONS IS CRUCIAL TO OUR SUCCESS. WITH A PRINTED MEMBERSHIP DIRECTORY, QUARTERLY NEWSLETTER, LEGISLATIVE PRIORITIES BROCHURE AND ELECTRONIC METHODS FOR OUR CAPITAL NOTES, E-NEWS BULLETINS, AS WELL AS OUR WEBSITE AND RELATED FUNCTIONS CONTAINED THEREIN, WE USE A MULTITUDE OF MEDIA METHODS TO SHARE INFORMATION WITH OUR MEMBERS.
