ACTIVITIES ARE TO PROMOTE THE COMMERCIAL AND SOCIAL ADVANCEMENT AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF CITIES INTHURSTON COUNTY TO ENCOURAGE LOCAL BUSINESSES TO PROCURE, PRESERVE DISSEMINATE STATISTICS INFORMATION REGARDING COMMERCIAL, FINANCIAL, AND SOCIAL ASPECTS OF INTEREST, PROMOTING ECONOMIC PROSPERITY AND COMMUNITY VALUES.

MONTHLY FORUMS SPEAKER EVENTS INTENDED TO KEEP MEMBERS INFORMED OF CURRENT EVENTS AFFECTING BUSINESS COMMUNITY. NETWORKING AND BUSINESS SPOTLIGHT OPPORTUNITES. MONTHLY MORNING MIXER MEMBERS NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES. CHAMBER HOSTED EVENT AT A MEMBERS BUSINESS LOCATION FOR THE PURPOSE OF HIGHLIGHTING THAT BUSINESS. MONTHLY BUSINESS AFTER HOURS MEMBERS NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES. CHAMBER HOSTED EVENT AT A MEMBERS BUSINESS LOCATION FOR THE PURPOSE OF HIGHLIGHTING THAT BUSINESS. TYING BACK OUR COMMUNITY, A COVID RESPONSE OF REOPENING BUSINESSES, FOR MEMBERS AND NON-MEMBERS.
BUSINESS TO BUSINESS AND PROJECT HIRE IS A FREE SERVICE TO ALL BUSINESS IN THURSTON COUNTY. IT IS A PARTNERSHIP WITH OUR REGIONS WORKFORCE BOARD AND THE STATE OF WASHINGTONS WORKFORCE SYSTEM. THE PURPOSE IS TO ASSIST LOCAL BUSINESSES IN LOCATING QUALIFIED, PRESCREENED EMPLOYEES. THE PROGRAM IS FUNDED BY THE PACIFIC MOUNTAIN WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT CONSORTIUM WHO PARTNERS WITH WA. STATE DIVISION OF VOCATIONAL REHABILITATION AND CONTRACTS WITH THE CHAMBER TO OPERATE THESE PROGRAMS.
