THE PCI-SIG IS THE INDUSTRY ORGANIZATION CHARTERED TO DEVELOP AND MANAGE THE PCI STANDARD. WITH OVER 800 MEMBERS, THE PCI-SIG EFFECTIVELY PLACES OWNERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT OF THE PCI SPECIFICATIONS IN THE HANDS OF THE DEVELOPER COMMUNITY. A BOARD OF DIRECTORS COMPRISED OF NINE PEOPLE, EACH ELECTED BY THE MEMBERSHIP, LEADS THE PCI-SIG. THE PCI-SIG IS CHARTERED TO: (1) MAINTAIN THE FORWARD COMPATIBILITY OF ALL PCI REVISIONS OR ADDENDA. (2) CONTRIBUTE TO BOTH THE ESTABLISHMENT OF PCI AS AN INDUSTRY-WIDE STANDARD AND TO THE TECHNICAL LONGEVITY OF THE PCI ARCHITECTURE. (3) MAINTAIN THE PCI SPECIFICATION AS A SIMPLE, EASY-TO- IMPLEMENT, STABLE TECHNOLOGY THAT SUPPORTS THE SPIRIT OF ITS DESIGN. DEVELOPERS CONFERENCE: DESIGNED TO HELP OUR MEMBER COMPANIES DEVELOP AND BRING TO MARKET PRODUCTS UTILIZING PCI TECHNOLOGY FEATURING THE LATEST SERIES OF TECHNICAL TRAINING SESSIONS PRESENTED BY PCI-SIG WORKGROUP CHAIRS AND OTHER PCI EXPERTS.
COMPLIANCE WORKSHOPS: OFFER MEMBERS THE OPPORTUNITY TO TEST AND VALIDATE THEIR PRODUCTS BEFORE THEY ENTER THE FIELD. TESTING IS COMPLETED AGAINST PCI-SIG MAINTAINED SYSTEMS, AS WELL AS OTHER LEADING MANUFACTURERS OF PCI PRODUCTS.
FULFILLMENT/FIXTURES: PCI-SIG COMMISSIONS A VARIETY OF FIXTURES TO ASSIST MEMBERS WITH COMPLIANCE TESTING AND ARE MADE AVAILABLE TO MEMBER FOR PURCHASE.
