MID-COUNTY COMMUNITY CENTER PROVIDES A BROAD RANGE OF PROGRAMS AND SERVICES WHICH MEET THE CHANGING NEEDS OF OLDER ADULTS IN MID-PIERCE COUNTY; ENHANCING LIVES AND UNITING THE COMMUNITY.

OUR SENIOR CENTER (ALL PROGRAMS) HAD 487 UNIQUE PARTICIPANTS THAT ATTENDED A TOTAL OF 18,286 TIMES IN OUR PROGRAMS. THESE PROGRAMS INCLUDED OUR MEALS, FOODBANK, ART, EDUCATIONAL, SOCIAL, AND HEALTH AND WELLNESS PROGRAMS. OUR SENIOR MEALSITE LUNCH PROVIDED 8666 MEALS TO 467 UNIQUE PARTICIPANTS HELPING TO ADDRESS THE NUTRITIONAL NEEDS OF OUR OLDER ADULT PARTICIPANTS. 226 PARTICIPANTS HAD A PARTICIPATION TOTAL OF 3065 IN OUR HEALTH AND FITNESS ACTIVITIES. THESE WERE ALL FOCUSED ON ENABLING OUR SENIOR PARTICIPANTS TO HAVE ACCESS TO HEALTH AND WELLNESS RESOURCES SUCH AS SENIOR FOOTCARE, VACCINATION CLINICS, AND FITNESS PROGRAMS THAT HELP THEM TO AGE IN PLACE AND REDUCE THEIR RISK OF FALLS.
