SENIOR SERVICES - PROVIDES SUPPORT SERVICES TO THOSE PEOPLE 60 AND OVER ON KODIAK ISLAND. DURING FY21, 104 CLIENTS RECEIVED SUPPORT.
KODIAK AREA TRANSIT SYSTEM - PROVIDES COORDINATED TRASPORTATION SERVICE FOR SENIORS, DISABLED INDIVIDUALS, AND ALASKA MENTAL HEALTH TRUST BENEFICIARIES. DURING FY21, 2,105 UNASSISTED RIDES AND 425 ASSISTED RIDES WERE PROVIDED TO CLIENTS.
ADULT DAY CARE - PROVIDES A SAFE AND STRUCTURED DAY PROGRAM TO PEOPLE WITH ALZHEIMER'S DISEASE AND OTHER DEMENTIA, THOSE RECOVERING FROM A STROKE OR WHO NEED SOCIALIZATION. DURING FY21, 25 CLIENTS PARTICIPATED IN THE PROGRAM.
NATIONAL CAREGIVER SUPPORT PROGRAM - PROVIDES SUPPORT AND RESPITE TO CAREGIVERS BY ASSISTING WITH INFORMATION, RESOURCES AND TRAINING TO MAKING CARING FOR ELDERLY LOVED ONES EASIER. DURING FY21, 71 ACCESS ASSITANCE CLIENTS AND 66 CAREGIVERS RECEIVED SUPPORT.
