AZSILC COUNCIL. THE ORGANIZATION OF AZSILC USES THE RESOURCES PROVIDED THROUGH THE SPIL TO SURVEY THE NEEDS OF ARIZONANS WHO HAVE DISABILITIES, ENSURE THAT CILS CONDUCT ASSESSMENTS OF CONSUMER SATISFACTION WITH INDEPENDENT LIVING PROGRAMS AND SERVICES, FACILITATE COMMUNITY OUTREACH, AND INDEPENDENT LIVING EDUCATION THROUGH PUBLIC FORUMS, WORKSHOPS, AND PRESENTATIONS. COLLABORATE IN COORDINATING INDEPENDENT LIVING CONFERENCES, EXPOSITIONS, AND SUMMITS, AND EDUCATE, INFORM, AND CULTIVATE SYSTEMIC CHANGES THAT ENHANCE AND EXPAND INDEPENDENT LIVING PROGRAMS AND SERVICES IN ARIZONA.
