COMMUNITY INTEGRATION PROGRAMS - SERVING 552 INDIVIDUALS - THE ARC OF VENTURA COUNTY'S COMMUNITY INTEGRATION SERVICES OFFER PEOPLE THE OPPORTUNITY TO PARTICIPATE IN A VARIETY OF MEANINGFUL ACTIVITIES OF THEIR CHOOSING THAT ARE PERSON-CENTERED, COMMUNITY-BASED AND SUPPORT FULL INCLUSION. ACTIVITIES INCLUDE PROVIDING VALUED VOLUNTEER SERVICE TO COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS AND GAINING SKILLS THAT CAN LEAD TO EMPLOYMENT; TAKING COURSES TO FURTHER EDUCATION; RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES; EXPRESSIVE ARTISTRY; IMPROVING HEALTH AND WELLNESS; PRACTICE DAILY LIVING SKILLS AND SELF-ADVOCACY.
