BALLET PERFORMANCES THAT CONTRIBUTE TO DEVELOPMENT AND MAINTENANCE OF A PROFESSIONALLY RECOGNIZED RESIDENT BALLET COMPANY. THE ORGANIZATION PRESENTED ABOUT 60 PERFORMANCES WITH 52,194 ATTENDEES IN THE STATE OF ARIZONA DURING ITS REGULAR SEASON.
THE SCHOOL OF BALLET ARIZONA IS THE ORGANIZATION'S OFFICIAL TRAINING INSTITUTE. OVER 400 STUDENTS AGES FOUR AND OLDER PARTICIPATED IN BEGINNER THROUGH ADVANCED LEVEL PROGRAMS, INCLUDING PRE-PROFESSIONAL AND RECREATIONAL OFFERINGS. DURING THIS FISCAL YEAR, STUDENTS TOOK 5,100 CLASSES OFFERED ALONGSIDE PROFESSIONAL DANCERS AND ARTISTIC STAFF OF BALLET ARIZONA. A RESOURCE OF COMMITTED AND INSPIRED TEACHERS GENERATED AN IMAGINATIVE, CREATIVE AND PRODUCTIVE RESPONSE. THE SCHOOL OF BALLET ARIZONA STUDENTS ARE ABLE TO SHARE THEIR LOVE OF DANCING IN COMMUNITY EVENTS THAT CONTRIBUTE TO THE INTRODUCTION OF THE ARTS TO YOUNG PEOPLE THROUGHOUT METROPOLITAN PHOENIX.
BALLET ARIZONA HAS SERVED ARIZONA COMMUNITIES BASED ON THE BELIEF THAT THE MAGIC OF A SINGLE PERFORMANCE HAS THE ABILITY TO CHANGE LIVES. BALLET ARIZONA OFFERS A WIDE VARIETY OF COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT PROGRAMS THAT SEEK TO EDUCATE COMMUNITIES ABOUT THIS TRANSFORMATIVE POWER OF DANCE.
