TO PROVIDE THE BEST POSSIBLE DANCE INSTRUCTION, FOCUSING PRIMARILY ON BALLET, TO CHILDREN AND ADULTS OF ALL ABILITIES; PROVIDE THE COMMUNITY WITH HIGH QUALITY BALLET PERFORMANCES AND OPPORTUNITIES TO ENJOY DANCE WITHOUT REGARD TO SOCIOECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES; PROMOTE AN APPRECIATION FOR THE ART OF DANCE.

STUDENT TRAINING: 356 STUDENTS WERE ENROLLED IN THE YOUTH PROGRAM WHICH HELD 32 CLASSES PER WEEK. ABOUT 400 STUDENTS HAVE ATTENDED THE 23 IN-PERSON WITH 21 ONLINE OPEN PROGRAM (DROP-IN) DANCE CLASSES. THIS HAD A SIGNIFICANT IMPACT ON THE HEALTH AND WELLNESS OF THE COMMUNITY. 7 YOUTH PROGRAM STUDENTS RECEIVE PARTIAL FINANCIAL AID ON AN AS-NEEDED BASIS
PERFORMANCES: PRODUCED AND PERFORMED 4 SHOWS OF THE NUTCRACKER AT THE MOUNTAIN VIEW CENTER FOR PERFORMING ARTS (1258 ATTENDED), 2 SPRING SHOWS OF PUSS IN BOOTS AT THE MENLO ATHERTON PERFORMING ARTS CENTER (264 ATTENDED), A GRADUATION GALA ON THE OUTDOOR STAGE AT WESTERN BALLET (102 ATTENDED), PERFORMED A SUMMER SHOWCASE AT THE SCHOOL.
