WESTERN BALLET IS 501(C)(3) NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION THAT MAKES THE ART OF CLASSICAL BALLET PERFORMANCES AND EDUCATION ACCESSIBLE AND AFFORDABLE TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC, INCLUDING LOW INCOME FAMILIES AND UNDERREPRESENTED ORGANIZATIONS.

PERFORMANCES: PPRODUCED AND PERFORMED 4 SHOWS OF THE NUTCRACKER AT THE MOUNTAIN VIEW CENTER FOR PERFORMING ARTS (1332 ATTENDED), 2 SPRING SHOWS OF SNOW WHITE AT THE MOUNTAIN VIEW CENTER FOR PERFORMING ARTS (951 ATTENDED), 2 SHOWS OF FESTIVAL OF THE ANIMALS CHILDRENS RECITAL (415 ATTENDED) AND A GRADUATION GALA (152 ATTENDED) AT THE MENLO ATHERTON PERFORMING ARTS CENTER, PERFORMED A SUMMER SHOWCASE AT THE SCHOOL.


STUDENT TRAINING: 221 STUDENTS WERE ENROLLED IN THE YOUTH PROGRAM WHICH HELD 32 CLASSES PER WEEK. ABOUT 500 STUDENTS HAVE ATTENDED THE 26 IN-PERSON WITH 24 ONLINE OPEN PROGRAM (DROP-IN) DANCE CLASSES. THIS HAD A SIGNIFICANT IMPACT ON THE HEALTH AND WELLNESS OF THE COMMUNITY. 7 YOUTH PROGRAM STUDENTS RECEIVE FINANCIAL AID ON AN AS-NEEDED BASIS.
