Describe the Organization's Mission:

EDUCATE CITIZENS REGARDING A CONSTITUTIONAL FORM OF GOVERNMENT AND PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES FOR CITIZENS TO TAKE ACTION ON LEGISLATIVE ISSUES CONCERNING INDIVIDUAL LIBERTIES TO PROMOTE AND RESTORE THE SELF-GOVERNANCE MODEL.
Describe the Organization's Program Activity:
Part 3 - Line 4a
WE PRODUCED MONTHLY EDUCATIONAL VIDEOS REGARDING STATE LEGISLATIVE ACTIVITIES, AS WELL AS INFORMING AND EDUCATING ON ISSUES DIRECTLY IMPACTING OUR FAMILIES AND COMMUNITIES THAT INFRINGE ON PERSONAL LIBERTY OR CAUSE HARM TO TRADITIONAL FAMILY VALUES. IN OUR STATE, WE HOSTED MANY EVENTS EDUCATING PARTICIPANTS ON LEGISLATION AND HOW TO ENGAGE IN GRASSROOTS ACTIVISM TO SUPPORT MANY LEGISLATIVE INITIATIVES.
OUR WEBSITE AND DIGITAL TOOLS GIVE CONSTITUENTS A USER-FRIENDLY WAY TO CONTACT THEIR STATE REPRESENTATIVES ON MANY KEY ISSUES. THOUSANDS OF TENNESSEANS SENT HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF MESSAGES ON 40 LEGISLATIVE INITIATIVES THROUGH OUR ADVOCACY PORTAL. A 150% INCREASE IN REACH FROM 2022. HIGHLIGHTS ON 2023 LEGISLATIVE WINS: 1. WE WERE THE ONLY ORGANIZATION TO FIGHT AGAINST A CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT THAT WOULD HAVE ALLOWED THE STATE TO OWN PRIVATE CORPORATIONS, AND WE SUCCEEDED. 2. WE FOUGHT AGAINST EXPANDING ABORTION RIGHTS IN OUR STATE, EXPOSED A BILL THAT WOULD HAVE INTRODUCED CBDC, AND KILLED LEGISLATION THAT PUT HOMESCHOOLS AT RISK. 3. WE WERE THE ONLY ORGANIZATION TO PUSH BACK AGAINST TOLL ROADS IN TENNESSEE. THE BILL PASSED, BUT WE CREATED SIGNIFICANT PRESSURE FOR FUTURE OUTCOMES.
WE DEBUTED THE TENNESSEE LEGISLATIVE SURVEY IN 2023 AS THE ONLY CONSERVATIVE SURVEY OF ITS KIND AND RECEIVED RESPONSES FROM OVER 3,000 TENNESSEANS ACROSS THE STATE. A PRINTED COPY OF THE SURVEY WAS HAND-DELIVERED TO EVERY MEMBER OF OUR STATE'S LEGISLATURE TO HELP INFORM POLICY DECISIONS ON CONSERVATIVE VALUES. BECAUSE OF THE WORK OF OUR GRASSROOTS ORGANIZATION, IN APRIL OF 2023, THE GRASSROOTS GAINED ALL 8 BOARD POSITIONS OF THE WILLIAMSON COUNTY GOP DURING THE GOP COUNTY REORGANIZATION. ADDITIONALLY, WE SET THE RECORD FOR THE LARGEST REPUBLICAN CONVENTION IN TENNESSEE STATE HISTORY, WHICH HAS RESULTED IN A TURNED TIDE IN WILLIAMSON COUNTY POLITICS. TENNESSEE STANDS ACQUIRED THE TENNESSEE LEGISLATIVE REPORT CARD. THIS DIGITAL REAL ESTATE HAS BEEN SCORING THE VOTES OF TENNESSEE LEGISLATORS SINCE 2017. THIS RESOURCE WILL BE AN IMPORTANT TOOL AND PART OF OUR MISSION TO UPHOLD CONSERVATIVE VALUES IN OUR STATE.
