EDUCATION, ADVOCACY, AND COALITION BUILDING CONTINUED EFFORTS BASED ON PREVIOUS RESEARCH TO GROW VETERAN CIVIC PARTICIPATION. ADVOCATED FOR POLICY ISSUES, INCLUDING LEGISLATION IN THE AREAS OF NATIONAL SECURITY, VETERANS AFFAIRS, NATIONAL SERVICE, AND TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCEMENT RELATED TO THESE ISSUES. PARTNERED AS A THOUGHT LEADER WITH INDIVIDUALS, ORGANIZATIONS, AND CONFERENCES TO ENCOURAGE VETERANS TO PARTICIPATE IN PUBLIC SERVICE AND REDUCE BARRIERS TO PARTICIPATION.
