RESIDENTIAL AND PERSONAL CARE ALTERNATIVES: RESIDENTIAL SERVICES ARE OFFERED IN TWO DIFFERENT SETTINGS. INDIVIDUALS MAY LIVE IN COMFORTABLE, FAMILY ENVIRONMENT GROUP HOMES OR MAY LIVE ALONE OR WITH A ROOMMATE IN AN APARTMENT OR A HOME. SERVICES IN THESE SETTINGS CONCENTRATE ON THE SKILLS NECESSARY TO BE ABLE TO LIVE INDEPENDENTLY. COOKING, CLEANING, LAUNDRY, NUTRITION, SAFETY, HYGIENE, AND COMMUNITY SKILLS ARE TAUGHT IN BOTH SETTINGS. THE GROUP HOMES HAVE A STAFF MEMBER ON DUTY AT THE LOCATION 24 HOURS PER DAY. INDIVIDUALS IN THEIR OWN APARTMENTS MAY RECEIVE SERVICES DAILY AS NEEDED THROUGH THE PERSONAL CARE ALTERNATIVES PROGRAM
SUPPORTED LIVING SERVICES: SPECTRUM STRIVES TO SUPPORT INDIVIDUALS BY PROVIDING SERVICES THAT ALLOW THEM TO LIVE IN THEIR OWN HOMES AND BE A PART OF THEIR COMMUNITY. THESE SERVICES ENABLE ADULT PARTICIPANTS TO MAKE CHOICES, RECEIVE NEEDED SERVICES AND LIVE MORE INDEPENDENTLY IN THEIR OWN HOME OR IN THE FAMILY HOME.
TRANSPORTATION: WE PROVIDE TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM SUPPORTED LIVING SERVICES ACTIVITIES BOTH IN-HOUSE AND THROUGH AN EXISTING COMMUNITY TRANSPORTATION OPTION.
