FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT SERVICES - BUSINESS MANAGEMENT SERVICES FOR ELIGIBLE PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES DESIRING TO DIRECT THEIR OWN PERSONAL CARE ATTENDANT SERVICES UNDER THE KANSAS MEDICATED HCBS WAIVER PROGRAM. BUSINESS MANAGEMENT INCLUDES PREPARATION OF SEMI-MONTHLY PAYCHECKS, FILING OF RELATED PAYROLL RETURNS AND W-2'S, AND FILING TAXES INCLUDING UNEMPLOYMENT INSURANCE AND WORKERS COMPENSATION COVERAGE.
INDEPENDENT LIVING SERVICES - INFORMATION AND REFERRAL SERVICES FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES TO ACCESS COMMUNITY RESOURCES AND TO PROVIDE BOTH INDIVIDUAL AND SYSTEMS ADVOCACY SERVICES AND EDUCATION RELATED TO CIVIL RIGHTS LAWS AFFECTING PERSONS WITH DISABILITES.
